Proven Compliance Solutions Announces its NERC CIP Executive Briefing “Understanding How the NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection Standards Impact Your Organization”

PCS believes, and has witnessed, that even the most successful NERC Compliance Programs benefit when the Executive Level Managers understand what their team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) are faced with in working to meet compliance to the NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Standards.  When evaluating what would most benefit an Executive, the conclusion was to provide a focused update on what NERC CIP means to their organization.

PCS has developed a two-hour executive level CIP briefing designed to inform and update managers who are responsible for compliance within their organization without diving into the weeds where the SMEs are already at work.  The Executive Briefing topics include:

  • Speaker Introductions
  • CIP Standards – How did we get here?
  • Compliance Concepts
  • CIP Reliability Standards Briefing (high level overview with discussion regarding the workload impact)
  • How to Create a Sustainable CIP Compliance Program
  • Q&A

Who Should Attend

  • Executive Level Managers
  • CIP Program Managers

PCS instructors Ryan Carlson, Jared Shakespeare and Carl Bench bring a wealth of experience and expertise in delivering this to your organization.
